One stop tourism and trading center to rise in Bulacan

A one stop business and tourism center will soon rise at the capitol compound here come February.

The Provincial Government of Bulacan announced Friday that a 2-storey building of the Bulacan Tourism and Business Assistance Center (BTBAC) will be constructed on a 30.5-meter-by-56-meter lot with 448 square meter floor area and facing the capitol mini forest.

Gov. Joselito “Jon-Jon” Mendoza, said that the BTBAC project will serve as a one-stop shop for businessmen who want to jumpstart or expand their business in the province, as well as visitors and tourists who wish to shop for souvenir items including Tatak Bulakenyo products.

“The provincial government will put into one place all the required services of entrepreneurs for their convenience and aside from business assistance. The Tourism Office will be housed inside the same building to attend to the concerns of local and foreign tourists,” Mendoza explained.

He said the processing and issuance of permits, clearances, authorizations, and requirements will be simpler, shorter, and responsive to the needs of investors because some business regulatory agencies will be housed under the same turf.

Based on the construction plan and concept of the center, it will have a showcase hall that will exhibit and sell locally manufactured products from Bulacan. This could also be the business matching venue for producers and buyers.

The governor also said that investors and entrepreneurs can avail of free internet facilities for business-related needs.

He added that a mini conference room was specially included in the design to serve as venue for business meetings, product launching and other business related activities.
