Bernard Palanca now a certified Kapuso
Bernard Palanca has long been identified as Kapamilya. He became popular in ASAP as part of “The Hunks” group with fellow kapamilya stars.
A former member of ABS CBN’s Star Magic, Palanca used to be part of The Hunks together with Piolo Pascual, Jericho Rosales, Diether Ocampo, and Carlos Agassi and the defunct band Bizkit Factory that was featured in the movie Kahit Isang Saglit. He is a Star Magic Batch 5 alumni.

Now that Bernard already left ABS-CBN for GMA7, he will be seen in Gagambino – a TV series top billed by Dennis Trillo.
Bernard decided to transfer home studio hoping that he will get more projects and acting assignments. Palanca is married but currently separated to filipina actress Meryll Soriano, the eldest daughter of Willie Revillame.
Bernard Palanca, Jr., born December 3, 1976, is the grandson of Filipino actor Armando Goyena (Jose Revilla in real life) and Pacquita Roces, the first Camay girl in the Philippines. His mom is Pilar Revilla-Jocson, the widow of the racecar driver Bernard Palanca. His younger brother Miko Palanca is also an actor.
