Twilight TV Series Pinoy Version soon – ABS-CBN
Who will be the Pinoy Edward and Bella?
Filipino fans of Stephenie Meyer’s “Twilight” series will soon have another reason to celebrate after broadcasting giant ABS-CBN bagged the exclusive rights to make a local television series based on the vampire novels.
Can we call it Vampire-Serye? LOL
Rayver Cruz in Twilight TV Series
The new series, tentatively titled “Takipsilim”, will reunite the onscreen tandem of Rayver Cruz and Shaina Magdayao.
The unofficial casts includes the TV network’s roster of talents such as Valeen Montenegro (Alice Cullen), Gabby Concepcion (Dr. Carlisle Cullen), Luis Manzano (Emmet Cullen), Joross Gamboa (Jasper Hale), Yayo Aguila (Renee Dwyer), and the newest recruit, Karylle (Rosalie).
The production is set to kick off in February, with locations covering Baguio, Tagaytay, Bukidnon, and overseas.
Taping for the series will start February of next year. Some parts of the series will be shot abroad and the other locations include Tagaytay City, Bukidnon and Baguio City.
The series will be directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina.
Not to sound snooty or anything, but this is why our country is known for being the rip-off version of anything and everything. Wala na ba tayong originality? we are better than this people!
the heck! c’mon! this is definitely a bad move! pinoy fans of twilight will just be so frustrated (including myself)… besides, shulace is right, don’t we have originality anymore? all we do is engross ourselves on making remakes and the like!

please spare twilight from the rest of pinoy copy cats. Not twilight and the rest of the series. We’ve had enough of korean, japanese, taiwanese and other asianovelas. Copying twilight is too much of that stuff. It sucks to even think of it.
