Michael Copon : The next Jacob Black?
Will Filipino – American Michael Copon get the Jacob Black Role in the upcoming New Moon Movie?
Michael Copon became a household name when he portrayed the role of Felix Taggaro in the television series One Tree Hill.
He also played the lead role of Mathayus in the The Scorpion King prequel, Rise of the Akkadian.
The next Jacob Black?
Michael takes over the role of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson where he is set to do a trilogy of the said movie. Michael started off his TV acting career when he played as Lucas -the blue power ranger. During that same time, Copon was also working as a print model in Los Angeles.
Copon was born in Chesapeake, Virginia on November 13, 1982; to a Filipino-American father and a German-American mother. Copon was named one of People magazine’s “50 Hottest Bachelors” in 2005.
Michael is seriously being considered as a replacement for Taylor Lautner’s role of Jacob Black in the 2009 Twilight sequel, New Moon.
