Manny Pacquiao destroyed Oscar de la Hoya after Eight rounds
Most viewer are Chanting of “Manny!” when the most talked about boxing game started. When game round 1 started De La Hoya misses with a big uppercut. Seeing them in the ring, Oscar looks significantly taller than Manny, but Manny is much faster and quicker than Oscar.
Oscar lands a good right at the start of the second round but Manny lands a good left and a good right. Manny is just abusing Oscar because he’s so much faster with both his hands and his feet according to AOL boxing blog. It’s a sensational showing for Manny, just peppering Oscar with punches all over the place. Good shot to the body by Oscar and then some left hooks to the head, and Oscar finally gets some offense going. It took him a long time, but Oscar finally showed how to do some damage to Manny.
Manny looks a little bit winded, but Oscar looks broken down. HBO’s Harold Lederman has given all five rounds to Pacquiao. On the 8th round Oscar isn’t even trying to do anything other than cover himself up while Manny keeps on lumbering right hand.
Round 8 : Oscar’s corner is is getting frustrated, they know Oscar is not doing well as expected. Manny continues to give strong punches against Oscar and Oscar can’t fight anymore. De la Hoya is still up, but he just can’t do anything keep up with Manny. Oscar was able to show some offense and lands a few not so strong punches but Pacman doesn’t look hurt at all. Obviously Round 8 is still for Manny and it looks like it will be the last round.
On the start of the 9th round Oscar can no longer answer the bell for the ninth round! It’s finally over and De la Hoya is now out of the league. Manny Pacquiao defeats Oscar De La Hoya by TKO after eight rounds.
Pacquiao was way ahead on all three judges’ scorecards, with two judges having it 80-71 and one judge scoring it 79-72. Pacquiao improves to 48-3-2, with 36 knockouts. De La Hoya falls to 39-6. Pacquiao destroyed de la Hoya!!!



Hey Melo! De La Hoya really took a beating from this one. I was actually pretty surprised that he didn’t stand a chance! Pacquiao’s speed is too much for him.
